Tips and tricks for your pond – trouble shooting

Algae build up
Too many fish and overfeeding cause surplus nutrients in water
Fallen leaves and decayed plant matter
Too few plants/inappropriate planting
Shallow water (water warms up more, so more algae growth)
Pond newly set up, balance may not be right yet

Take out fish/feed less/use pontec® pond clear or algae stop
